Psychologist Lina Malessa
about me
"We all have the power to work on our personal health and well-being - sometimes we might just need a little push."

My name is Lina Malessa, I am a psychologist (M. Sc.) and certified stress & burnout coach (§20 SGB V). I've completed my bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Cologne in 2017 and my master’s degree at the University of Bonn in 2020. In addition, I've done a further education as a fitness trainer and, last but not least, successfully participated in a further training to become a stress and burnout coach. Here I also acquired the certificate as relaxation trainer.

During my studies I've worked in various psychological areas. From scientific work at the University, HR & personnel selection activities and supporting a start-up in the area of employee health, to the creation of psychological content for a training in depression at a digital mental health start-up.

In April 2021, I've decided to start my own business, where I can combine exactly those things that inspire me. This includes both psychological counseling and support for individuals, as well as giving workshops and using group dynamics for exchange and further development. I pursue a holistic psychological approach in which I do not only use my professional qualifications, but also my personal strengths. This includes my communication skills, my empathic and open, trustworthy side, as well as my ability to listen and support. At the same time, I can use my structuring and analytical skills and my striving to pass on knowledge.

I am convinced that anyone who wants to can actively work on his or her health - mentally as well as physically.  It is my passion to support people in achieving this. We cannot find the best way out of every situation on our own. Self-development is an important aspect that can help us to become more satisfied with our life right now and in the long term. We are constantly facing new challenges. In order to adapt to challenges and finding a good way to deal with them it can be useful to accept outside help. Here we can get the little push that is missing sometimes.

For me it was definitely the right decision to take this path. I've found a job I am standing 100% behind. I am grateful for the people I am already working with and I am looking forward to all the others that are yet to come. I am taking benefit from each of you and I am still constantly developing myself. Thanks for that!

I am looking forward to getting to know you!
